Para pengguna internet di Indonesia pada akhir 2022 sampai awal 2023 ramai atau viral memperbincangkan waralaba makanan dan minuman baru yang dikenal sebagai Mixue Tea and Ice Cream. Dalam bahasa manajemen pemasaran, komunikasi viral lewat internet (atau Electronic Word-of-Mouth, eWOM) yang terjadi merupakan komunikasi WOM.


Waralaba Minuman Mixue

Waralaba Mixue merupakan cabang dari waralaba raksasa yang berasal dari Republik Rakyat Cina. Merek ini bermula pada tahun 1997 oleh Zhang Hongchao dengan modal dana pinjaman dari neneknya. Toko pertama bermula dengan satu kedai kecil karena dana yang terbatas. Perjalanan usaha si pendiri tidak selamanya mulus karena toko pertamanya harus tutup. Zhang Hongchao mendirikan usaha minuman lagi dengan merek Mixue Bingcheng. Pada tahun 2022, perusahaan ini memiliki lebih dari 22000 cabang di 11 negara.

Dalam hal strategi pemasaran, strategi penting yang merek ini gunakan di RRC ialah mematok harga minuman pada 2 yuan ketika pesaing mereka mematok harga 10 yuan, berfokus pada kota-kota tingkat 3, serta mematok biaya lisensi franchise yang relatif terjangkau. Mereka juga menggunakan cara menarik pelanggan dengan cara membuat maskot yang unik bernama Ice King (terjemah Raja Es) dan menggunakan jingle dengan tune yang catchy. Di Indonesia, strategi "harga murah, barang lumayan" sendiri juga diterapkan dengan mematok harga minuman mulai Rp 10.000 sampai Rp 22.000.

Kedai pertama Mixue di Indonesia didirikan di Cihampelas Walk mall Bandung pada 2020. Selang beberapa bulan, merek itu tumbuh secara signifikan baik di Bandung maupun di kota-kota lain. Tingkat pertumbuhan yang sangat tinggi ini menangkap perhatian pengguna internet dan menjadi viral.

Sebab utama Mixue menjadi topik yang viral adalah tingkat pertumbuhan waralaba yang tidak biasa dan hampir di mana-mana. Karena fenomena tersebut sangat unik maka para pengguna internet membuat meme yang isinya bahwa ruko-ruko kosong "diambil alih" oleh Mixue. Seperti contohnya ialah pengguna Facebook ber-id Aufi Rayesa yang membuat lelucon dengan mengunggah gambar Kelpshake dari Spongebob Squarepants yang diganti mereknya jadi Mixue serta "memperingatkan" akan adanya cabang-cabang baru di dekat rumah pembaca meme.

Selain meme gambar, meme tentang Mixue juga dibuat dalam bentuk video seperti kover lagu oleh pembuat komik GHOSTY's COMIC di Youtube. Viral marketing ini menjadi rejeki nomplok bagi merek Mixue sehingga mereka bisa mendapat ketenaran dengan biaya pemasaran yang minimal.

While initially the setting looks like Standard European Medieval Fantasy, it is actually post-apocalyptic world with history similar to our timeline's.

 Fan Gamma Bizen 

A mysterious captain 8th Shadow Ship. Beneath his usual slothful attitude, he is really brilliant naval commander and expert fighter, both unarmed and with Katana blade. He has a pet Sea Falcon named Rufa. As 8th (or officially, 0th) Shadow Ship has no official they must watch, their duty is gathering intelligence of potential threat on Sea Tribe as a whole. Fan identified that that the threat for current era as gunpowder-wielding Ronaldia Empire which threaten Sea Tribe's domination on sea. 

He later reveals that he is one of the potential heir for eponymous title of Sea King when old Sea King passed away and election for new Sea King is held. Fan himself doesn't know nor doesn't care if he is previous Sea King's son and says so. He lost the election race but new Sea King gives him prestigious but empty Grand Sea Admiral. As he has access to records of history similar to our timeline's, he nonchalantly mentioned Mehmet the Conqqueror and Turkish feat of moving ships above land in Siege of Constantinople (1453), he finds a method or two to fight cannon-armed Ronaldian Navy without access to any guns.
